The AquaDoc UV offers convenience by providing healthy drinking water directly from your tap. It is easy and simple to use as it is installed at the point of use, for example in your kitchen for the purified water to flow from the tap. The AquaDoc UV also purifies the incoming water whether from a municipal supply, a borehole, or rain water collection tank. The water produced can be used for cooking, cleaning food and of course drinking.

Operation and Maintenance

The device is simple to install, just connect into the cold water pipe. Operation is very simple and the patented safety feature prevents users from being exposed to harmful UV (Ultra Violet) light. The device has been designed for minimal easy maintenance. The pre-filter cartridge needs to be replaced regularly depending on the quality of your water (average every 6 months.) The special long life UV lamp has to be replaced every 12 months. Replacements lamps and filter cartridges are always available from 3K plus V.

How does the UV light work?

UV light is one of the most effective technologies for purifying water, it has the ability to kill water-borne microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and even the chlorine-resistant protozoa Cryptosporidium and Giardia. It does not add any chemicals, taste, or odours to the water and does not produce harmful by-products.
